KDP – Kentucky Democratic Party
KREF – Kentucky Registry of Election Finance, the state agency that monitors candidate and campaign use of funds
LEC – Legislative Ethics Commission. The state agency that enforces the legislative ethics rules on legislators, candidates for the legislature, and lobbyists
PAC – Political Action Committee. An organization set up to support or attack a candidate, party, or position
