The Candidate Manual – Finishing Running

Election Day – Wake up early, find polling locations to visit and campaign (follow what the law allows), breathe, relax, drink plenty of water and eat. Hopefully you will be proud of the campaign you ran. Then prepare for the results.

Final reporting – File your final campaign finance reports in the time allowed after election day.

Thank-yous – Write thank-you notes to every person on your staff, every significant volunteer, and every person who provided substantial assistance to your campaign.

Take some time off – Campaigns are physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausting. Win or lose, plan to take some time to recoup.
